What's happening

Hi Everyone,
I'm back at work in Florida, and have been busy settling back into my new role as the Manager for Engineering Services at Disney's All Star Resort. What an exciting assignment I have. For those that are not familiar with the resort, it is Disney's biggest and busiest resort in the world. Originally there were 6,000 guest rooms spread out to 2,000 rooms in each theme, Sports, Music and Movies. They took some of the single rooms and combined them to make family suites so now there are 5544 rooms, making it the third largest single site hotel in the United States,

I am enjoying learning about rooms and the nuances of the hotel business and can only hope that I am doing a good job for the resort and the team that I am leading now. There is plenty to do as you can imagine. I have also started taking HVAC classes two nights a week and love getting dirty and learning the technical end of things. With all that going on it is difficult finding time to write the Bright Side, and I have really missed doing them, so I have made it my promise to myself to get back in the habit of doing them regularly. I have plenty of material for them from things that have happened and new people that I have met that provide most of my material.

I am looking forward to the new year and to all the exciting things that I know it will bring. I wish you and your loved ones, peace, love, and health in the coming year.
